Carol A. Cale

Carol A. Cale, age 69, of Bloomington, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025. She was born on September 11, 1956, in Beetown Township, the daughter of Jack and Mary (Mergen) Metcalf. On December 28, 1973, she was united in marriage to Dave Cale. Carol graduated from Cassville High School in 1974. She furthered her education at Southwest Wisconsin Technical College, earning a degree in Interior Design. Carol worked at the Gold Dust Saloon, cooked at the Ace of Clubs in Bloomington, was a floral designer at Piggly Wiggly in Prairie du Chien, and as a store manager at New Horizons. She also worked at Wyalusing State Park and volunteered at the school lunch program. Carol was a wonderful cook and made the best banana bread and soups. She loved nature and the outdoors, autumn and her pet cats. Carol was a loving person who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her children: Jackie (Indra Lim) Cale and their children Sylvia and Kaspian; Cory (Angie) Cale and their children Jakob (Kahlahna Tailor) Whiteaker and their daughter Khyler; Hannah (Bailey Vickerman) Whiteaker, and Ryan Cale; Christopher Cale and his children Clinton (Sabrina) Remsik and their son Oliver, and Tianna Cale; her fiancé Mark Joyce; her siblings: Julie Metcalf Cull; Cheryl Metcalf, John Metcalf and Larry Metcalf; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband Dave; a grandson, Juniper; a nephew, James Cull and her sister, Sally Metcalf.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at 12:00 Noon at Kramer-Grau Funeral Homes & Crematory in Lancaster with Pastor Pam Strakeljahn officiating. Burial will be in Cassville Cemetery, Cassville. Family and friends may visit on Sunday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the services at the funeral home.
