Lancaster

LANCASTER – Frank L. Clark Jr., age 84, of Lancaster, Wisconsin, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at St. Dominic Villa in Hazel Green. He was born March 14, 1942, the son of Frank Sr. and Marie (Cooley) Clark. Frank graduated from Lancaster High School in 1961. He proudly served his country for three years in Berlin during the construction of the Berlin Wall. On a blind date, he met the love of his life, and they were united in marriage on July 6, 1968, in Afolkey, Illinois. Frank spent several years driving semi before dedicating 25 years to delivering LP gas for Cenex. He later worked at Ready Ag in Stitzer until his retirement in 2001. He found great joy in the outdoors—hunting deer and elk out west, fishing for catfish up north, and rabbit hunting alongside his beloved beagles. In the mornings, you could often find Frank at Zippy’s in Lancaster, enjoying a game of Euchre and the company of friends.

Frank is survived by his wife, Gayle; children: Amy (Fred) White of Bagley, and Michael Clark of Lancaster; seven grandchildren: Brianna, Kevin, Ashton, Raven, Trae, Anakin, and Destiny; four great-grandchildren: Isabelle, Gracelynn, Holden, and Leighton; siblings: Douglas (Jackie) Clark of LaMotte, Iowa, Karen Gilfoy of Madison, Stanley Clark of Lancaster, Carson (Kathy) Clark of Bloomington, and Terry Clark of Lancaster; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank Sr. and Marie (Cooley) Clark; Mother and Father-in-law, Homer and Bethel Walker; and brother, Dennis Clark.
