Bagley
James E. Mitsch, age 75, of Bagley, died on Sunday, January 30, 2010, at his residence. He was born on May 24, 1935, in Chicago, the son of James and Dorothy (Glasbrenner) Mitsch. James attended school in Chicago and was employed with the union as a floor coverer for forty-fives years. In 1973, James moved to Bagley. He was an avid Chicago Bear and Cubs fan and loved reading, hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his children: Tom (Beth ) Mitsch, McHenry, IL; Susan (James) Burke, Lake Geneva, WI; James (significant other, Dawn) Mitsch, McHenry, IL; Cindy (Rod) Rodriguez, Lindenhurst, IL; his step-children: John Dale (Debbie) Harris, Jr., Des Plaines; Theresa (John) Eisenminger, Darien; Matthew (Michelle) Harris, Garnavillo, IA; thirteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his sister, Joyce Hahnlein, McHenry, IL.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Mitsch.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Martin Funeral Home in Bloomington is assisting the family.
