CASSVILLE – Joann Kay Pellock passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Orchard Manor Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family after a battle with dementia. Born June 20, 1941, in Cassville, WI, Joann was the daughter of Lawrence and Leila (Dolphin) Wood. She attended Ramsey School and graduated from Cassville High School in 1959. She loved her Bingo and enjoyed playing until her health issues. Family and friends meant a lot to Mom, and she cherished every moment with all of them.
She is survived by her son, Mitch and daughter, Kim Russell, both of Cassville; her grandchildren: Ryan Russell of Prairie du Chien, Cory Russell of Stoughton, Taylor Martin of Middleton, and Katelyn Tank of Independence, MO; and great-grandchildren: Zoey Russell, Reese Russell, Beckett Russell and Luka Russell.
Joann was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard “Dick” Pellock; a son, Jeffrey J Pellock; and siblings: Ray, Janice Briggs, Loren, Dean, Loyle and Kieth.
Joann’s family would like to thank the staff at Orchard Manor for their kindness and care they provided. A very special thanks goes out to Alicia Johnstone and Amanda Hochhausen for their in-home care they provided.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church in Cassville with Father Mark Miller officiating. Burial will be in Cassville Cemetery, Cassville. Family and friends may visit on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. Kramer-Grau Funeral Homes & Crematory in Cassville is entrusted with her care.
