Joseph E Sedbrook

Joseph E. Sedbrook, age 79, of Potosi, dies Wednesday, October 10, 2001 at Manorcare Health Services, Dubuque. He was born March 8, 1922 in Potosi Township-the son of Melvin and Dora (Udelhoven) Sedbrook. he married Marie Dressler on May 1, 1945 at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Tennyson.

Joe was employed at Dubuque Packing Company for 30 years. he loved to fish and hunt and enjoyed the outdoors, antiques and playing cards. He was also a member of Ducks Unlimited-Potosi Chapter. 

Surviving are his wife, Marie, Potosi; two brothers, Ed Sedbrook, Potosi; and Sylvester (Jenette) Sedbrook, Hot Sptings, Ak; and a sister, Luella (Francis) Polfer, Madison.

He was preceeded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Laverne, Donald, and Merlyn Sedbrook.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, Octover 15, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Potosi with Father Richard Leffler officiating. Burial will be in St. Andrew Cemetery, Tennyson. Friends and relatives may call on Sunday, Octover 14, 2001 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Martin Page Funeral Home in Potosi, where a parish scripture will be held at 3:15 p.m.
