LANCASTER – Judith P. “Judy” Call, age 83, of Lancaster, Wisconsin, passed away at her home on October 2, 2026. Judy was born on January 13, 1943, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, the fourth of seven children born to Rufus and Margaret (Nothnagel) Hanson. She graduated from Osseo High School and, on May 25, 1962, married the love of her life, Clayton Call, at Kings Valley Lutheran Church in Osseo. Together, they built a loving home and raised two children. Judy dedicated much of her life to caring for others through her work in healthcare. She spent the later years of her career at Orchard Manor, where she served as a Senior Aide and Resident Coordinator. After 33 years of dedicated service, she retired, leaving behind a lasting impact on the residents and families she cared for. In her free time, Judy enjoyed traveling and exploring different countries, taking winter trips to the Gulf Shores, and spending summers in Cable, Wisconsin. She also found joy in the simple pleasures of reading and crocheting. She especially cherished time spent with her family, which was truly the most important part of her life. Judy was an avid Wisconsin Badgers fan and could often be found cheering on her favorite teams, especially in volleyball and basketball.
She is survived by her children: Bryan (Sonya) Call, of Wisconsin Rapids, and Laurie (Steve) Walker, of Lancaster; grandchildren: Tanner and Jenah Call, Elizabeth, Erin, and Meg Walker; siblings: Juanita and Ellen; along with other family and friends.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clayton; and siblings: Lavonne in infancy, Jim, Joanne and Marjorie.
