Marie E. Sedbrook

POTOSI – Marie E. Sedbrook, age 80, of Potosi, died Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster. She was born June 23, 1925, in Grant County, WI, the daughter of William F. and Isabelle (Koeller) Dressler. On May 1, 1945, she married Joseph Sedbrook at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Tennyson. For many years, Marie served as the U.S. Postmaster in Potosi. She loved gardening and yard work, and spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by two brothers, Alfred (Charlotte) Dressler, and Richard (Marilynn) Dressler, both of Potosi; four nieces, Jennifer (Michael Blankstein) Dressler; Sandy Elskamp, Joanne (Jeff) Kruser, and Patricia (Bill) Durley,; and five nephews, Christopher (Paula); Ronald (Laurie), Donald (Jenny), Robert (Janet), and William (Penny) Dressler,

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, on October 13, 2001; her parents; her brother, Bernard Dressler; and two nieces, Stephanie Dressler and Gloria Pickel.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Potosi with Father Richard Leffler officiating. Burial will be in the St. Andrew Cemetery, Tennyson. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 1, 2005 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Martin Page Funeral Home in Potosi, where a 4:15 p.m. parish scripture service will be held, and at the funeral home after 9:30 a.m. Saturday morning.
