Patricia A. Roesch, age 54, of Potosi , died Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at her home. She was born on March 14, 1956 in Rockford , IL , the daughter of Virgil and Geneva ( Wayne ) Thingvold. Pat graduated from Boscobel High School and received a Nursing Degree from Southwest Technical College in Fennimore. She was united in marriage to Russell Salmon on November 25, 1976 , who preceded her in death on August 12, 1982 . Pat was united in marriage to Paul Roesch on September 24, 1983 in Lancaster . She worked as a Registered Nurse at Mineral Point Care Center for 15 years and was promoted to Director of Nursing. The last several years, Pat was a RN at Southwest Health Center in Platteville. Pat liked sewing, fishing, baking and especially loved to spend time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Paulie Roesch, Potosi; four children: William J. Salmon, Potosi; Amanda J. (Sean) Fortney, Platteville; Nathanial E. (Tina) Salmon, Mt. Hope and Alisha M. (Bobbie) Keener, Owego, NY; a brother, Michael (Natalie) Thingvold, Potosi; 12 grandchildren: Brenna, Austin, Tristin, Thomas, Taylor, Kevin, Tessa, Blake, Jordan, Nathanial Jr., Nathan and Myia; two brothers-in-law: Dale (Judy) Roesch, Lancaster and Terry (Connie) Roesch, Glen Haven; two sisters-in-law, Linda Roesch (Al Chamberlain) and Gloria (Scott) Kraft, both of Boscobel; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell; her parents; a grandson, Keith; a granddaughter, Faith and her brother, Phillip Thingvold.
Memorial services were held on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Schwartz Funeral Home (142 West Oak St. , 608.723.4500) in Lancaster with Teri A. Hanson officiating. Burial was held in Boscobel Cemetery . Family and friends were welcome from 10:00 a.m. until time of services Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers and plants, a Patricia A. Roesch Memorial Fund has been established.
