CASSVILLE - Patricia Ellen Mumm, 86, of Cassville, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Southwest Health Center in Platteville, Wisconsin. Patricia was born on November 11, 1939, the daughter of Allan and Jeanette (Smith) Barr. She graduated from Bloomington High School in 1957 and was united in marriage to Maurice Mumm on October 15, 1960. The couple farmed on Settlement Road in Cassville for 32 years until Maurice’s passing in 1994.

Patricia was an avid bowler and card player who loved a good scratch-off ticket. In her younger years, she also loved playing softball. She enjoyed morel hunting and Sunday morning coffee with her niece, Cheryl Spaeth. She looked forward to Thursday lunches with friends and visits to Ma’s Bakery in Bloomington to catch up with friends.

More than anything, Pat cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who lovingly called her “Grandma Cookie.”

She is survived by her daughter, Deb (John) Mumm of Glen Haven; her son, Tim Mumm of Cassville; her grandchildren, Shannon (Brad) Adams, Dani Jo (Anthony Haas) Mumm, Matthew Mumm, Torin (Ally Leibert) Mumm, Tamara (Kyle) Thorsen, and Mahcoy Mumm; two siblings, Tom Barr and Bonnie (Larry) Laufenberg; a sister-in-law, Gerry Mumm; a brother-in-law, Cecil Anderson; four step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, including her six special nephews, Jim, Dan, Jer, Dean, Al, and Pete Mumm.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice; her parents, Allan and Jeanette; a granddaughter, Trista; a great-granddaughter, Natalee; a step-great-grandson, Derik Joseph; her siblings, Glen, Robert, Judy, and Mary; and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church in Cassville with Father Gregory Ihm officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Settlement Cemetery, Cassville Township. Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church in Cassville and on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church. Kramer-Grau Funeral Homes & Crematory in Cassville is entrusted with her care.

At Patricia’s request, everyone attending is encouraged to dress in Packer, Badger, Brewer or casual attire.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the Cassville Rescue Squad, Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster, and Southwest Health Center in Platteville.
