Robert L. Cook

Robert Louis Cook, II, age 49, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2020 at his home in Lancaster, WI after a long battle with an illness. Bob was born on May 25, 1971 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Margaret Benjamin and the late Robert Louis Cook. Bob’s occupation was a Machinist/Tool and Die maker. He was an avid New England Patriots fan and loved spending time with his fiancée.
He is survived by his fiancée, Annette Putzel of Lancaster, WI; his son, Zachary Cook (fiancée, Makala Kohlbeck) of Springdale, Arkansas; his daughter Camille Cook of Morrison, IL; sisters, Tina (Rick) Sexton of Newark, DE, April (Troy) Lantz of Byron, IL; brothers, Matt Porter of Portage, WI, Terry (Kristen) Cook of La Porte, IN, Jason Cook of La Porte, IN, and Nick (Amber) Cook of La Porte, IN; and several nieces and nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by his dad, grandparents, several aunts and uncles, and his niece, Mykenzi.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the home of April and Troy at 725 Birch St., Byron, IL on August 8, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Please join us and share your favorite memories of Bob as we celebrate his life. No funeral services will be held at the request of Bob. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Lancaster is assisting the family.
