Roger "Butch" L. Stich

Roger Stich passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026, at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison due to several medical complications. Roger was born on February 21, 1953, at the old Lancaster Hospital on the square to Veryl and Lydia Stich; seventh and youngest child. He attended grade school in Stitzer, graduated from Fennimore High in 1971. He graduated from (formerly) Fennimore Vocational School two years later. Butch worked at several jobs in his lifetime; the most enjoyable being with Addison Transmissions in Stitzer also as a licensed cheesemaker at Fennimore Branch Cheese company. Butch also enjoyed playing softball as a young man and also working on Bill Rotramel's stock car with his friends. He was also a former member of the Stitzer Fire Department.

Roger is survived by his siblings: Laurene (Randy) Hamann of Lancaster, Ronnie (Gail) of Topeka KS, Gene of Stitzer, Marcia Wilson of Lacrosse, brothers-in-law: Wayne Stotesbery and Orlin Jackering.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Gloria Stotesbery and Connie Jackering.

The family would like to thank Orchard Manor for his great care while Butch was there.

A celebration of Butch's life will be on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Stitzer Methodist Church, Stitzer, WI. Burial will be held at a later date in Rock Church Cemetery. Kramer-Grau Funeral Homes & Crematory in Lancaster is serving the family.
