Ronald F. Allen

Ronald F. Allen, age 75, of Stitzer, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster. He was born on November 6, 1949, in Illinois, the son of David and Edna (Hurst) Allen. Ronald attended school in Fennimore. On December 29, 1967, he enlisted in the United States Navy and served his country for two years. After his honorable discharge, Ronald worked for Larry Droessler & Sons Restoration. He enjoyed woodworking, woodcarving, hunting, fishing and feeding the birds and watching the squirrels. Ronald was very creative not only with wood, but he also created cannons that he would fire off around the Fourth of July.

Survivors include his daughter, Becky (Allen) Grattan; his siblings: Patsy (Gerald) Hubbard, Ruth Klein, Donald (Loretta) Allen; four grandchildren: Devin (Kaitlyn) Allen, Drake, Dylan, and Brooklyn; a great-grandchild, Meadow; other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his siblings, Donna Allen, David Allen, and Cathy Carlin; a brother-in-law, Bill Klein.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Kramer-Grau Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1234 S Madison Street, Lancaster. Private family burial with military honors will be held at Prairie Cemetery, Fennimore.
