Ronald J. Hoffman

Ronald J. Ron Hoffman, age 55, of Bloomington, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, September 11, 2014. He was born on January 2, 1959, in Lancaster, the son of Charles and Frances (Critchlow) Hoffman. Ron graduated from Bloomington High School. He was employed as a truck driver most of his life, currently employed with Bausch Trucking. Ron was an avid outdoorsman. He especially enjoyed trapping and gardening.

Survivors include his brothers and sister: Douglas (Marilyn) Hoffman, Bloomington; Mary (Marcus) Schildgen, Bloomington; Jim (Doreen) Hoffman, Waterloo; special friend, Iola Knutson, Bloomington; and many nieces and nephews.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents.

In honor of Rons wishes, there was no services. Martin Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Bloomington is assisting the family.
