PRAIRIE DU CHIEN – Sharon K. Sweeney, age 71, of Prairie du Chien, passed away on March 27, 2024, at her home. She was born on January 23, 1953. Sharon enjoyed puzzles, word-finds, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children: Robert, Duane, Tarance, and Amy; grandchildren; and siblings: Tom, Danny, Joe and Karon.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Nikkie; a son, William; her mother, Lucille; and sister, Katie.
Sharon’s wish was that there would be no formal wake or funeral. A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Bloomington is assisting the family.
