Sonja Kellogg

Sonja L. Kellogg, age 66, of  Potosi, died Tuesday, January 26, 2016, at  Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque. Sonja was born on May 5, 1949 in New Hampton, IA, a daughter of Alva & Irma (Stiefel) Althof.

Sonja enjoyed fishing, knitting, and sewing.

Sonja is survived by her three children, Robert Clefisch of Platteville, Michelle (Elmer) Webster of Potosi, and Dawn Haas of Benton; her significant other, Charles Woodward of Potosi; five grandchildren; two brothers, Allan Althof of Guttenberg, IA and Louis (Emily) Althof of Mason City, IA; and two sisters, Karen (Gary) Anderson of Lakota, IA and Joann Warner of Owasso, OK.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister-in-law, Karen Althof.

Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Martin Schwartz Funeral Home in Platteville, with Rev. Jim McMahon officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. Friends called one hour prior to the services Saturday at the funeral home. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Platteville is assisting the family.
