Susan J. Thole

LANCASTER – Susan J. Thole, age 75, of Lancaster, Wisconsin, passed away on February 18, 2024, at Divine Health and Rehabilitation in Fennimore, Wisconsin. She was born August 13, 1948, the daughter of Joe and Gloria (Ames) Winkler. She graduated from Potosi High School in 1967 and continued her education by attending beautician school. Sue was united in marriage to Ron Thole in 1990. 

Survivors include her children: Kari (Scott) Krohn, Kurt Kruser and Kelly (Joan) Kruser; grandchildren: Shannon (Nic) Bartels, Tyler (Brianna) Krohn, Austin Vike, Madelyn Kruser, Anna Kruser, Trevor Thole, Zach Thole, Makayla and Mya Eddy; five great-grandchildren with one on the way; stepchildren: Mike (Kristina) Thole, Donna (Randy) Vike, and Deb (Steve) Eddy; nieces, nephews, family and friends. 

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Ron; stepdad, Floyd Curtis; brother, Joe Winkler; and a nephew, Nick Pitzen. 

In accordance with Sue’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral services. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Lancaster is assisting the family.
