PRAIRIE DU CHIEN - Tamala A. “Tammy” (Cimmerer) Davis, 68, passed away on September 21, 2026, in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, where she most recently made her home.

Born on April 30, 1958, Tammy was born and raised in Clare, Michigan, the daughter of Robert and Gayle Cimmerer. She later made Wisconsin her home, living for many years in both Racine and Grand Marsh before eventually settling in Prairie du Chien.

Tammy spent many years working as a bartender, where she met countless people and became a familiar face. She loved watching football and especially enjoyed a good motorcycle ride. Tammy truly loved being outdoors, whether she was working in her yard or simply soaking up the sun and getting a tan. She was just as happy curling up in her recliner with a good book. She also enjoyed flying to Arizona to visit family.

Tammy was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Gayle Cimmerer, and her beloved husband, Charles “Charlie/Chuck” Davis.

Tammy is survived by her daughter, Shayne Davis and her partner, CJ Reszczynski; her stepson, Kevin Davis; her grandchildren: Kylie Davis and her partner, Jose, Branden Davis, Michael LaCour Jr., Cari LaCour, Emerson Davis, Emily Davis, and Christopher Davis; and her great-grandchildren: Kinzlie, Daniela, Zayden, and Jose Jr.

She is also survived by her sister, Toni Grove and her husband, Keith; her brothers, Bill Cimmerer and his wife, Terri, and Tim Cimmerer; her nephews: Pat Varney and his wife, April, and Chris Grove and his wife, Loni; as well as many other nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Tammy leaves behind a lifetime of memories and a place in her family that can never truly be filled. She will be remembered in the stories shared about her. Although those who loved her would have wished for more time, the moments they shared with Tammy will continue to be carried with them. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever a part of the lives and hearts of the family and friends she leaves behind.
