Timothy J. Mergen

GLEN HAVEN – Timothy J. Mergen, age 68, of Glen Haven, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2026, at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster. He was born on May 10, 1958, in Prairie du Chien, the son of John W. and Margaret (Hennessy) Mergen. Timothy graduated from Bloomington High School in 1976. Following graduation, he farmed in Bloomington Township and later hauled feed for Warco from 1983 to 1985. Timothy moved to Minnesota in 1985 where he continued to farm. In 1987, he was united in marriage to Pamela Hanson in Minnesota. Timothy moved back to Grant County in 2000 and was employed at Premier Co-op until his retirement in 2025. He enjoyed farming, combining and being on the farm. Timothy also enjoyed attending farm shows and traveling to Duluth and Superior.

Survivors include his children: Emma and John; their mother, Pamela; siblings: David (Melanie) and James (Ruth Ann) Mergen, Mary (Ed) Breuer; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Timothy was preceded in death by his parents and aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Noon at Kramer-Grau Funeral Homes & Crematory in Lancaster with Pastor Mark Hoehne officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bloomington. Family and friends may visit on Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at I Don’t Care Pub in North Andover.
