Valerie was born on December 28, 1945, in Oxford, England, to John and Winifred (Gerrard) Davies. She attended school in England and graduated from Oxford Primary School.
On May 5, 1967, she married the love of her life, Gerald “Jerry” Weber, in England. Together they were blessed with three children and shared a life filled with love, adventure, and devotion to family. During Jerry’s service in the United States Air Force, the family had the opportunity to live in several places, eventually settling in Rapid City, South Dakota. While there, Valerie pursued her passion for cosmetology, attending cosmetology school before becoming an instructor and sharing her knowledge with others.
In 1994, Valerie and Jerry made Wisconsin their home. She found great joy in the outdoors and cherished her work with the National Park Service. Valerie was also a talented and creative woman who loved art, painting, decorating, and sewing. Above all else, she treasured the time she spent with her family. Her greatest happiness came from being surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, creating lasting memories that will be deeply cherished.
