William J. Kelly

POTOSI – William J. "Bill" Kelly, age 70, of Potosi, died on Saturday, March 17, 2018, at his home in Potosi. He was born on October 13, 1947, the son of Virgil and Irene (Burns) Kelly. Bill was united in marriage to Carol Walters on May 29, 1971.
He was employed at John Deere Dubuque Tractor Works in Dubuque, IA, for thirty years. Bill was an avid collector of sports memorabilia.
Survivors include his son, Willie (Cindy) Kelly, and their children: Evan, Ryan, and Erin; his siblings: Mike, Linda, Ron, Tim, and Kathy.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife Carol in 2010, and a step-daughter, Rita.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Potosi is serving the family.
